Color sets Zinfin Doll panicle hydrangea apart from the rest! This versatile, compact panicle hydrangea starts out white, but its gumdrop-like blooms soon start to develop a pink color that slowly shades up the bloom for an incredible multi-color effect. Like all Proven Winners panicle hydrangeas, it was selected not just for that unique, eye-catching color, but also for its strong stems and earlier bloom time, so you can enjoy more of what makes hydrangeas so special over a much longer time than others.
What makes Zinfin Doll different from other panicle hydrangeas?

Hardiness: USDA zones 3-8

Light: Full to part sun
Soil: Any well-drained soil will do. Though dry conditions are unlikely to harm an established plant, prolonged drought will cause flowers to brown and wilt instead of develop a good pink color.
Pruning: Blooms on new wood; prune back by one-third in late winter/early spring for better habit and a slight improvement in stem strength.
Water: Average water needs. Does not tolerate wet conditions.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once in early spring with a rose fertilizer if desired.
Bloom time: Early-mid summer
Bloom color: Flowers start white, but the lower florets soon turn dark pink, and that color continues to shade up the blooms as they age, creating a very distinctive effect.
